Mini Masterpiece:

Students will use a variety of art materials and methods to make creative and unique works of art inspired by the masters, including Gustav Klimt, Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee, Piet Mondrian, Frida Kahlo.  K-2, 3-4, 5-7

Crafts Around the World:

A global tour of craft and handwork using paper folding and cutting, weaving, painting, drawing, and combining multiple elements. Among them we will explore Indian Mehndi painting, Japanese paper folding, cutting, and Koi Fish Kites, African textile prints and jewelry, and Central American Molas

Sea and Sky:

Students will explore their creativity through making beautiful bird, fish, and land and seascape artworks in a variety of art styles.

Amazing Animals:

In this theme the focus will be primarily on animals on four legs. Both 2 and 3-dimensional works will be included in this class.

Show Me a Story:

Following a reading of a children’s classic story students will create artworks in a variety of mediums, including ink, watercolor, pastel, crayon, and collage. Stories will vary, requests are welcome in advance. Favorites include "Where the Wild Things Are", The Very Hungry Caterpillar", "Planting a Rainbow" and "The Velveteen Rabbit"

DIY with Doodles:

One of our most popular classes, students learn 3-5 design elements per period, and complete a DIY object embellished with one or more of the designs learned. Students will create a design journal, and additional projects including Picture Frames, Bookmarks, Jewelry boxes and more.

DIY with Alice:

Explore your creativity through crafts inspired by this beloved children’s story. Girls will make Mad Hatter Hats, Queen's Crowns, Red Felt Rose Bouquets, White Rabbit Ears, and more.

DIY Fashion:

This course includes sewing, jewelry making, and design projects. Some favorites are pillow case skirts and dresses, T-shirt yarn necklaces, and duct tape messenger bags.

DIY Jewelry:

Beads, fibers, and found objects play a big part of this class, with plenty of bling for glamour girls, as they make necklaces, bangles, earrings, and rings.
